Siegfried Fischbacher, one-portion of the famous magician duo Siegfried and Roy, passed on Wednesday night at his home in Las Vegas from pancreatic malignancy. He was 81.
Fischbacher’s demise comes only months after his exhibition accomplice, Roy Horn, kicked the bucket from confusions identified with COVID-19 at 75 years old.
An assertion from Siegfried and Roy’s press office said Fischbacher had an interesting capacity to “perform complicated magic at lightning speed.” This made him a perfect foil for Horn, a “perpetual dreamer.”

Siegfried Fischbacher was brought into the world in Germany in 1939. He adored wizardry such a lot of growing up that he functioned as a performer on a voyage transport. That is the place where he met Roy Horn and started a 50-year association that took them to Las Vegas.
A Siegfried and Roy wizardry show was a chance for lavishness. By 1990, they filled the stage at the MGM Mirage Hotel and Casino with ensembles, smoke machines, creatures and set plans that made them an objective for millions on the Las Vegas amusement circuit.
At that point, in 2003, a 380-pound white tiger assaulted Roy Horn in front of an audience and finished the pair’s Vegas show. The two officially resigned in 2010.
A road on the Las Vegas strip was named after them a year ago, soon after Horn’s demise.
